Feature Friday: Noonday Collection

articles/pic-1.jpg

We enjoy highlighting one of many unique brands in our "Feature Friday" blog posts.

A little about the company:

Noonday Collection is a women’s jewelry and accessories company that uses fashion and design to create economic opportunity for more than 2,000 artisans in Latin America, Asia and Africa and more. Jessica Honegger launched their first collection in 2010 after she met jewelry designers, Jalia and Daniel during her trip to Uganda. Her business has grown rapidly and now partners with 30 artisan businesses in  13 different countries.

What we like about the brand:

  1. Noonday Collection is a member of the Fair Trade Federation. Just like Fortress of Inca, the Noonday Collection believes in fair wages and providing safe and healthy working conditions.
  2. They give back. Its products give back in so many ways including job creation, scholarships, skills- development training as well as supporting families and orphan care. Orphan care and prevention remain its core value. Noonday donates 10% of sales from its designated adoption trunk shows to adopting families to help them bring their child home.

Some pieces that we like:

Mesh Bangle & Shine Necklace

The Shine Necklace adds the perfect pop of color! Pair the bright bold colors of the Shine Necklace and the Isabella Pointed Toe ( Grey or Metallic Grey + Black) with a flowy summer dress.

Bengal Necklace & Bazaar Bangles

This very neutral combination would go perfect with a denim button down and black skinny jeans. The Bazaar Bangles, Bengal Necklace and Cameron Oxford ( Grey or Tan) are a match made in heaven.

Rachel Necklace & Beaded Statement bracelet

Pair the Victoria Luz  Black or Tigerlily with Noonday Collection’s Rachel necklace and Beaded Statement bracelet with your favorite summer jumpsuit! This looks is super fun and flirty.
