Feature Friday: Kucoon
We enjoy highlighting one of the many unique clothing brands we like in our “Feature Friday” blog post. After all, clothes and shoes are intertwined; you can’t have too much of one or the other.
A little about the company:
Kucoon is a women’s clothing line that caters towards a stylish, playful yet practical woman. Designer Andrea Spratt launched the brand in Los Angeles, California in 2007. The brand currently sells to the end-consumer through its website and showroom in Los Angeles, California.
What we like about the brand:
1.Kucoon steps to the beat of its own drum. Although much of Kucoon’s styles look very modern, they do not fall into a specific fad or any specific era. The company even claims on its website that it is anti-trend (so fierce!). Designer Andrea Spratt simply focuses on making apparel that would look and feel good on a woman, and lets her creativity take the lead. Spratt uses muted and neutral-colored fabrics with little to no pattern and lets her distinctive designs speak for themselves.
2.Kucoon's products are made for comfort and grace. The majority of Kucoon's clothing is made from soft jersey cotton which gives each garment a nice, elegant drape. The draping conveys fluid movements in each piece of clothing making it looks very graceful and comfortable.
Some pieces that we like:
This jersey cotton dress is great for summer but can also be paired with skinny jeans or leggings during the winter.
A simple light weight knitted hood with infinity scarf attached. This hood is used to style the Jackie Jersey Dress above. We simply love it for its peculiar and chic design.
